You have probably reached this site by word of mouth, and gotten the appropriate passwords to get in, so you do, indeed, belong perusing what I have put up.
The ICS/iCalendar style calendar (default for the Mac, and becoming the standard on Unix, I think Outlook can handle it as well ... but I'm not a windows-head, sorry, please, do let me know, should one have problems with it) is generated nightly from the other information. This feeds the calendar view and the rss feed (warning, this is currently slow) so you should check back in a day to make sure that your information was correctly added, should you be adding anything. The index pages in the respective directories should be updated immediately.
There will (hopefully soon) be a way to subscribe to mailing lists that send out for each and one list that is for all, that one can get a daily, weekly or montly mailing. I do remind you that since people don't usually plan a month ahead, the monthly one is oftimes only useful for recurring events.
Some of these directories are defunct, or out of date. If there is an addition you want to make, please, do let me know.
In each directory is a submission *grin* form, should you wish to add an event.
